What a hilarious day this was, but so sad to think of in retrospect. Six wide-lipped rhinos ambled next to our camp, and Steve shot this picture of me as I stood in happy surprise on the perimeter of camp to watch their visit. Thse six "white" rhinos were the last of their kind in Meru, Kenya, and six months after we were there all six were slaughtered for their horn.
